Our story

Not a fusion.
A constellation.

Moonsun is shaped by Afro-Bajan and Persian roots and by relationships formed in Hawaiʻi. We honor what each culture and community carries without asking those differences to become a label. We come as ourselves—ready to listen, share, and learn in right relationship.

The gallery is a living container for art, memory, land, music, and the stories we carry between places.

The Moonsun Hawaiʻi AR Artwalk is a self-led journey created, curated, and narrated by Melody Khodabandeh in collaboration with Kerry Mark Green.

Kerry’s artwork and storytelling lead the experience. Melody shapes the journey and its chapters around place, memory, and their shared art path in Hawaiʻi, with Kerry’s input throughout.

Moonsun Barbados

Envisioned for 2027, Moonsun Barbados will be a place-rooted chapter centered on Kerry Mark Green’s relationship to Barbados—its land, art, family, and stories. Melody Khodabandeh will create, curate, and narrate the journey in collaboration with Kerry.
